Hope updating the Twitter Digest plugin will get my microblog archives rolling again. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence that it broke the same day I made a “real” / non-automated post or what.

WAIT A SECOND – it WAS just a coincidence! Now I wish I hadn’t put off fixing this for so long.

This site is like my captain’s log! I refer back here all the time to find out when stuff happened or recover notes tweeted to myself and the (deaf, unfeeling) world.

J/K. About the deaf unfeeling world. I totally prefer it that way. J/K again.

So. I’m very sad that my tweets are no longer posting here in a daily digest. Lightning Allie is in charge of finding out why, and I’m in charge of not worrying about it.

In the meantime, here’s something cool:

Though they hardly scan for deeper / older / more long-term source material, it’s still really fun. I love the music and wonder how it was selected . . . and what it even is. I like it too much for it to be random, and am interested in seeing more of how to use Friendly Music.

The plugin I was using to import my tweets in a daily-digest form has been “upgraded”. So apparently it doesn’t work anymore, or I have to find out HOW to make it work again.

I have put Lightning Allie on the job because I plan(ned) to hyperfocus on something / detach from this kind of bullshit for ten-make-that-nine days.

One of my big challenges is being able to call a thing FINISHED. It’s like I just can’t say a project is done if it’s not perfect, so nothing is ever done.

I’m afraid to tell people about it or put it to use. I don’t recognize when something is good enough, ready to roll . . . workable.

I might need to take the word “finished” out of my vocabulary, and replace it with READY.

Daily Digest Post Time?

Hmmm . . . the archive for yesterday is scheduled to post at noon. I wonder why that is? It’s already there as a draft. Is it because I changed my time zone settings in the dashboard? Wait . . . let me check the post times on previous entries: not exactly, since they’ve been posting at 11am every day.

I can’t figure out how to adjust this in the Twitter Tools plug-in settings. 4 am is the time I have it set to create the post from the previous day. Why does it wait until lunchtime to post it? Why doesn’t it publish immediately?

ALSO: I would love it if I could format each tweet so that it’s preceded by the time the tweet was made, like in the old days using Loud Twitter.

ALSO: I can’t get my wordpress app to connect to this blog. I get an error that includes org.xmlpull.v1.xmlpullparserexception blah blah blah. I found some stuff about it, but NEVERMIND – IT WORKED WHEN I ADDED WWW!

None of this is a high enough priority for me to dedicate time to it. TODAY, anyway.
